关于赴西藏采访的通知(A Reporting Trip to Tibet)

  各位记者女士、先生:

  我很高兴地通知大家,外国记者新闻中心将于2004年8月12日至19日组织外国记者赴西藏拉萨、林芝等地采访(初步日程和相关事项附后)。

  请有意参加此次采访的记者,请填写报名表(见附件),于7月23日(星期五)12:00前向外国记者新闻中心传真报名(传真:65882594),已于日前通过“IPC意见调查”报名的记者请再次传真确认。

  因名额有限,每家新闻机构限报1名文字记者,电视、通讯社可增派1名摄像或摄影记者。如人数太多,IPC将抽签决定人选。

A Reporting Trip to Tibet

  July 16th, 2004

  Dear Sir/Madame,

  It’s my great pleasure to inform you that the International Press Center will organize a reporting trip to Tibet Autonomous Region (Lhasa and Nyingchi) for foreign correspondents in China from August 12th to 19th, 2004.

  If you are interested in the trip, please download and fill out the attached application form and fax it to the IPC before 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 23rd, 2004. (Fax: 65882594). For those who have previously filled out the “IPC Poll” and signed up with IPC, please reconfirm by fax.

  You are kindly reminded that each media organization can only send one person, while TV and News Agency can have one more cameraman or photographer. If there are more applicants than we can accommodate, the IPC will decide on the name list by drawing lots.

  Mr. Ding Yonghua will be the coordinator for the trip. His contact phone number is 65882585. If you need nay further information, please do not hesitate to contact him.

Expenditure in Tibet

 

Airfare: Beijing-Lhasa CA4112   2,430 RMB per person

Lhasa-Beijing CA4111   2,430 RMB per person

 

Fees for tickets, communication: 800 RMB per person

 

Lodging and catering: 4,400 RMB per person

 

Local transportation: 1,050 RMB per person

 

Journalists should pay for filming at halls of monasteries. Fees range from 450 RMB to 1,800 RMB.
