A reporting trip to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Gansu Province

The International Press Center (IPC) of the Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Affairs Offices of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Gansu Province will co-organize a reporting trip for foreign correspondents accredited in China to Ningxia and Gansu from 23 to 30 April 2007.

24 April (Tuesday)

--08:30    Leaving for Lingwu City

--10:10    Interviewing Baijitan Forestation (sand-control project)

--13:30    Leaving for Xingjing Town (poverty-relief project)

25 April (Wednesday)

--08:30    Interviewing officials from relevant local Departments

--10:00    Visiting the Western Xia King Mausoleum

--14:00    Leaving for Zhenbeipu Studios

26 April (Thursday)

--08:00    Leaving for Tongxin County

--10:00    Interviewing Muslim Girls School and Kindergarten

--13:30    Leaving for Honggangzi

--15:00    Leaving for Lanzhou, Gansu Province

--18:00    Arriving in Lanzhou

30 April (Monday)

--15:30   Leaving for Beijing by Flight MU 2417

 

Please buy the air tickets in advance by yourself from Beijing to Yinchuan and from Dunhuang back to Beijing and it is suggested that you take Flight CA1219 to Yinchuan and Flight MU2417 back to Beijing.

Lodging, catering and transportation: RMB 300 yuan per person per day. The Gansu Foreign Affairs Office will reserve for correspondents the air tickets from Lanzhou to Jiayuguan and you can make payment upon arrival at Lanzhou.
