The Event of MFA Presenting Hainan Free Trade Port to the World will be held at 15:50 on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Lanting, South Building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. With the theme of "Local Practice of Chinese Modernization: Hainan Free Trade Port, New Era, New Mission, New Opportunities," the event is co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Government of Hainan Province.

Mr. Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister, will be present and address the audience. Mr. Feng Fei, Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, and Mr. Liu Xiaoming, Governor of Hainan Province, will deliver remarks and presentations respectively. Representatives from the Diplomatic Corps will deliver remarks.

Those who are interested in covering the event will need to register through the online application system (www.lanting-fmprc.cn) by Monday, December 2. An entry QR Code will be issued via cellphone once registration is approved. Kindly be reminded that the QR code and press card are required for entry. Please arrive at the media check-in desk on the 1st floor, South Building before 14:00 on December 4.
