It is a pleasure to inform you that the International Press Center (IPC) will organize a reporting trip to Tianjin 

by the express train during the operational period via the Beijing-Tianjin Inter-city Railway for foreign correspondents based in China on July 22nd, 2008. The tentative itinerary is as the follows.

07:20 Assembly at the east gate of the Foreign Ministry

08:30 A tour of Beijing New South Station

09:00 Leaving Beijing for Tianjin by the express train via  the Inter-city Railway  

          Introductions by the engineers from Ministry of Railway aboard the train

09:30 Arrival at Tianjin

10:00 Meeting with Tianjin mayor Huang Xingguo

10:50 A tour of Olympic Culture Square

11:20 Sights of the city reconstruction project for the Olympics

12:00 Lunch 

14:00 A tour of Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium

          Introduction on the preparation work by official of the Tianjin Office of 

          the 29th Olympic Football Match Organization Committee

14:40 A tour of the Tianjin Olympic Media Center and Security Center      

          Introduction of civil traffic control measures by officials of Tianjin Traffic Control Bureau

15:30 Meeting with Olympic volunteers 

16:00 Departure for Beijng on train

The cost of the reporting trip will be covered by the Chineses side.
