China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), hailed as the No. 1 technological show in China, is state-approved, the largest and the most influential technological event in China. It is co-hosted by Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, State Intellectual Property Office, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Shenzhen Municipal Government. CHTF integrates transaction of achievements, exhibition of products, high-level forums, projects investment, cooperation and exchange. Since its inception in 1999, the CHTF has played an important role in commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of high-tech achievements, and has created a platform for valuable exchange of information and experience on science, technology, and economic development.

With the theme of "Invigorating the Greater Bay Area through Opening Up and Innovation" , the 21st edition will be held on November 13–17, 2019 in Shenzhen. The upcoming CHTF 2019 will showcase the latest trend in the fields of AI, intelligent manufacturing, energy saving & green technology, IT, biology, new energy, new material, advanced manufacturing, aviation & aerospace, etc; and will feature a series of events including exhibitions, forums, conferences and other events. With a total exhibition area of 140000㎡,more than 3000 exhibitors and 500,000 visitors from the world are expected to attend the event.
